Quickstart Dashboard
Your starting point after signing in — choose to use or provide compute
The Quickstart Dashboard at /quickstart is the first page you see after signing in. A welcome header greets you with your current credit balance, and on your first visit, a dismissible “How Archipelag.io works” banner explains the three steps: choose a task, Islands process it, pay with credits. Below that, two paths are presented depending on how you want to use the network.
Use Compute
The “Use Compute” side is for consuming AI inference — running models hosted on the network.

Provide Compute
The “Provide Compute” side is for contributing hardware to the network and earning credits.

How earnings work
- Pair a device or open the Browser Island
- Your hardware receives and executes AI inference jobs
- You earn credits for each completed job
- Credits accumulate in your account balance
- Your karma score grows with successful completions, earning you more jobs
Navigation
From the quickstart dashboard, you can also access:
- Settings (
/settings) — manage your account, Islands, API keys, and credits - Credits (
/credits) — purchase credit packages - Verify (
/verify) — complete identity verification - Developer (
/developer) — submit and manage your own Cargos
Mobile navigation
On mobile devices (screens narrower than 1024px), a bottom tab bar provides quick access to the five most important pages:

The bottom bar highlights the current page and is hidden on public pages (before sign-in). It automatically hides when the virtual keyboard is open.
Keyboard shortcuts
Press ⌘ + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows/Linux) anywhere in the app to open the quick navigation palette. Type to search across all pages, use arrow keys to navigate, and press Enter to go.
