Create your account with magic link authentication and manage your settings
Archipelag.io uses passwordless authentication — you sign in with a magic link sent to your email. No passwords to remember or reset.
Creating an account

Check your inbox
After submitting, you'll see a **"Check your email"** confirmation screen showing which address the link was sent to — along with a reminder to check your spam folder and a link to try again if needed. The magic link in your email expires after **15 minutes** and can only be used **once**.
Click the link
Click the magic link to sign in. A new account is created automatically if one doesn't already exist for your email.
No passwords
There are no passwords on Archipelag.io. Every sign-in uses a fresh magic link. This eliminates password reuse, credential stuffing, and forgotten password flows.Sessions
Once you click the magic link, a session is created:

Sessions are automatically extended as you use the platform. If you sign in from a different browser or device, a separate session is created.
After signing in
After your first login, you’re taken to the Quickstart Dashboard at /quickstart. This gives you two paths:
- Use Compute — start chatting with AI models or generating images
- Provide Compute — contribute your hardware to the network and earn credits
Account settings
Visit /settings to manage your account. The settings page includes:
Profile
- Your email address
- Account creation date
- Sign out button
Credit balance
- Current credit balance with approximate USD value
- Link to purchase more credits
Identity verification
- Current KYC verification status
- Link to start or check verification
Your Islands
- List of all paired Islands with status, hardware, karma, jobs, and earnings
- Refresh Islands button to update status
API keys
- List of API keys with name, prefix, scopes, and last used date
- Create and revoke keys
